this is a vintage “House of Chinchilla” hat pin or brooch pin. The flower is made from standard color chinchilla fur and the stem and leaves are velvet. It is preowned in the original box, howeer, the box is dented and the plastic top has a small piece of tape on it.My dad used to raise chinchillas when i was young and he sold pairs for mating. This was something he had given my mom. This would be from the early 70’s. Thanks for your interest.
