This is a fairly well known style from the jewelry maker Florenza (1940s to 1981). They did a number of variations on the Maltese cross with varying configurations of stones and intricacy of design. As pictured, it has the brooch pin, but also a hook allowing it to be worn as a pendant. For me, it would make the perfect embellishment on the front of my straw cowboy hat as well. This particular one pops up on Etsy, eBay, etc., and is usually priced at about $150. The last picture shows that this exact one sold on eBay for $130 just over 2 weeks ago. Winner adds $10 S/H (insured). THANK YOU!
